We’re so glad you’re interested in becoming a UCity Leader! Leaders at UCity take care of our volunteer teams called “Roots,” the lead our UCity Groups, and they carry the responsibility to lead our people well. To say “yes” to being a UCity Leader is saying yes to loving and leading a group of people the way Jesus did. Being a UCity Leader is also the place where you step into a deep and intentional discipleship process. We would love for you to be a part!
The first step to becoming a UCity Leader is joining our next Growth Cohort! During this cohort you will learn more about who God is. who you are and how you fit into His story. Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, to learn from God’s Word, practice our UCity Values, and get practical next growth steps for your faith journey.
After completing Growth Cohort, if you feel led to become a Leader let us know! We will set up a time to have a personal conversation with you!
The last step to becoming a UCity Leader is to make a commitment to join leadership of a particular Team or Group OR start a new group. This commitment includes weekly communication with your team or group members, scheduling and planning how your team or group will run, and also attending monthly Team Leaders meetings that are run by the UCity Pastors.
This is a big commitment! But you will not be alone! We find that most people find the joy and fulfillment they were looking for in their life by living out their call to be a Disciple of Jesus!
